Wordfence issue lost password

Hi,

Normaly when you click on lost password, and fill in an account name that’s not found. The theme will response with this error: ”invalid username or email”. But after the update when wordfence is active it redirects to the original wordpress lost password page.

On this page there is no message saying that the user is not found.

Do you guys know how to fix this?

The Login / Registration panel comes with the WooCommerce plugin, please check this issue with the default WordPress theme like twenty-twentyone or Storefront. If that issue is only in the Woodmart theme, please let us know.

Hi, Thank for your reply.
The issue is now fixed:

Wordfence > All options > Brute force protection > uncheck ‘’Don’t let WordPress reveal valid users in login errors’’

If this option is enabled it will forward to the wordpress page instead of the woodmart error message.
