Would it be possible to create a banner to display at the top of the category page?
There should be a different banner for each category.
Instead of using an elementor layout, I am using the OOTB theme settings.

Under the Category edit area, there are two Descriptions to add. One is the main Description and the other one is the Extra Description: https://snipboard.io/QpUuzY.jpg
So, if you want to define some Banner for the Categories then you can use the Extra Description area under that which shows the content below after the Products Grid. In that you can add Media to add the Banner Image.
Otherwise, you have Custom Layout creation option available under the Dashboard > Layouts > to create Custom Layouts for Categories and in that you can add Banners easily.
