WP Bakery Editor / product-image.php

Hi there!

We are experiencing issues with our page and have identified a possible issue with the product-image.php

Issue 1:
We tried editing a single product layout in English (International language by WPML). While copy pasting a layout (html code) from a perfectly working german product layout, we noticed the product image are not being displayed in backend editor & frontend editor is not loading at all. When saving the layout as an HTML text, we receive a critical error message.
Also we are experiencing issues with the all product prices when being logged in as an Admin. there are constantly a few Euro Cents of the actual price. This is only visible when being logged in with an account; not on the shop page.

Please disable any plugins not directly related to our theme temporarily. We will log in to your dashboard and investigate the issue. Please ensure that you only keep the following plugins that are necessary for our theme to work correctly:
– WoodMart core
– WooCommerce
– Elementor/WPBakery Page Builder

Our page is currently live so we cant do that on a live page. Also: the issue only occurs in languages translated with WPML, so youd need these plugins to reproduce the issue.

Please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme on your staging website. Also, send us a link to the product and the name of the custom layout that you have a problem with so we can try to reproduce the issue.

So we have deactivated all plugins except wood mart core – however now you won’t be able to see any products or layouts as WPML, WP Bakery & Woocommerce are disabled as well….

Product: Line Tracer (ID: 44508, ENGLISH SITE via WPML)
Product layout: ALL English layouts or product pages (WPML) are effected. Can chose any. We tried to work on the ENGISH Version of Sunglasses: Bio/Fair – as i said, you’ll need activate WPML to reproduce the issue.

We opened that product, but when we try to switch to the English version, we are redirected to the live website. Could you please a video of how to reproduce the issue on the staging website?

I dont know what is causing this. to give you a perspective what i experience on the live page, i added a product layout html below with some screenshots how it’s displayed in the backend editor. As you can see, the wood mart woocommerce elects are not displayed correctly. When editing in backend editor, the site experiences a fatal error after saving.

However this is only one part of the problem. The main issue is still persistent: critical errors when performing actions on english Posts & layouts.
We are still experiencing critical errors when:
– Duplicating posts
– deleting posts
– saving posts
All as seen in the URL of the critical error page.

IMPORTANT: Create a backup of the database before doing this. Let me know if it works.

We have executed the fix according to your description however it seemed to have made things even worse, as we now don`t see any layouts, neither in German, nor English. Once navigating to the Layout page, we immediately receive a critical error message.

Please advice.

Please update the Yoast SEO Premium to the latest version. The problem is caused by the conflict between this plugin and our theme. If it doesn’t help, we will continue our investigation.

Hi there!

This plugin is currently disabled. Is possible for the plugin to effect the live page?

In the meantime, an update on the WPML plugins showed some effects and we can now edit layouts and posts again without errors. The plugin was updated just 1hr ago so we’re still testing everything and would get back to you here if any issues present themselves.

Yes, it affects the live page. It works now because you disabled it and not because of the WPML update.
