WPBakery can not working properly

    Hello fantastic woodmart team,

    I have installed the newest version of WP Bakery from xtemos page. I got serious problem with WPBakery that can not working properly when I tried to edit some pages from frontline editor. I can not do that, so that pity of me. I have read some reference topic as same as this problem, then I tried to follow the step. I have de-activated all plugin exclude slider, mailchimp, etc. I have done it one by one to check and check again. But, in the end still I get this problem did not fixed.     Please kindly help me ASAP, because my boss is so horrible. I know you can fix this. Hiks, please help, I do really need this problem fixed before my end review agenda.

    Hello,

    Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

    I have checked and done it one by one as plugin deactivated then activiated it again one by one. I already try reinstalled wpbakery too. But, the problem still exist.

    Hello,

    Please deactivate and delete Elementor.

    WoodMart works with either WP Bakery builder or Elementor builder at once, but not with both at the same time.

    Please confirm the permit to deactivate the plugins not related to the theme and switch to the child theme.

    Dear Elise,

    Yes I have deleted elementor, then repeat once again deactivated plugins that did not related with themes. please help me check it again, the problem is still exist as WPBakery front end editing can not working.

    We are now checking your site. I have checked without plugins and on the parent theme the problem remains. Now our dev team is working on your issue. As soon as we get the reason we shall let you know. By default, there is no problem with front editing. Something causes on your site and we are searching for what it is.

    Hello,

    We have checked and see a lot of errors in the WordPress admin http://prntscr.com/ur76pv

    These errors are caused by some code that adds defer attribute to JS files incorrectly. http://prntscr.com/ur77gm

    We have also checked the issue on other themes and see the same errors. We think that you need to backup your content and reinstall WordPress.

    Dear Elise,

    Is it means that I should Re-uploading the latest copy of WordPress to myserver, excluding the wp-content folder and wp-config-sample.php file?
    Which step better for me to do it,
    1. Reinstall it using wordpress dashboard? or,
    2. Reinstall it using FTP, I backup my WP content then reinstall wordpress and back up the content?

    Hello,

    Make the full backup of your site.

    Then export only content: Dashboard > Tools > Export.

    Then export Theme Settings: Dashboard > Theme Settings > Export / Import – press “export” the file would be downloaded to your PC.

    If you have custom widgets in Appearance > Widgets, copy, save them.

    Then Reinstall the WordPress,

    Upload our theme, install all the plugins in Appearance > Install plugins.

    Import the content.

    Import the Theme Settings.

    Insert the widgets.

    That is all.
