WPBakery / Elementor issue Plugin with new update?

Hello – Long time user of woodmart,
We’ve just installed a new instance of Woodmart and noticed WPBakery is not in the recommended/required plugins from the WP backend, I’ve uploaded it from the plugin folder in the zip manually.
QUESTION: Can we deactivate elementor and just use WPBakery as we’ve done for many years?
Is WPBakery still going to be supported with newer versions?

WoodMart works with either the WP Bakery builder or the Elementor builder at once, but not with both at the same time. In the process of installing the plugin, please install one builder plugin you are going to use. It is not possible to convert an existing site that is built on the WP Bakery Page Builder into Elementor. Page builder plugins are provided in Appearance -> Install plugins.

Thanks for the clarification – I had to manually install the WPBakery plugin as it was not provided in Appearance -> Install plugins.

If you have selected Elementor during the theme installation, you will need to re-install all from scratch and install the theme on clear WordPress installation and select WP bakery page builder.
