WPBakery update breaks responsive visibility classes in WoodMart

Hi WoodMart Support,

I hope you are doing well.

We have encountered an issue after updating WPBakery Page Builder on one of our client websites using the latest version of the WoodMart theme.

After the update, elements that are configured to be visible only on mobile are suddenly also displayed on desktop. Likewise, desktop-only elements are no longer hidden correctly.

The page itself has not been modified. The responsive settings are still configured correctly within WPBakery. For example, the generated shortcodes still contain the expected visibility classes such as:

vc_hidden-lg
vc_hidden-md
vc_hidden-sm
vc_hidden-xs

However, these classes no longer seem to be respected after the update.

This is concerning because we manage a large number of websites running WoodMart and WPBakery. If this is caused by the latest update, we may have to manually inspect and potentially modify many customer websites, which obviously should not be necessary after a standard plugin update.

Could you please clarify:

Are you aware of this issue?
Has anything changed regarding the responsive visibility classes in the latest WPBakery integration?
Is there a recommended fix or patch available?
Can this be resolved from the WoodMart side without manually modifying every website?

We have verified that the page still contains the correct WPBakery visibility classes, so it appears the issue is related to how these classes are currently being handled after the update.

We would appreciate your feedback, as we’d like to prevent this from affecting more customer websites.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of Woodmart 8.5.7, we have already solved the issue in latest theme.

Otherwise, please share your Site WP-ADMIN Login details in the Private Content field so that we can check this concern on your Site and help you out accordingly.

I have checked your website and tested the responsive visibility settings.

I edited the page and configured the column responsive settings in WPBakery to hide the columns on the desktop, and the columns are hiding correctly.

This indicates that the WPBakery visibility classes are working properly on your installation.

Please check again after clearing your browser cache and any website/server cache. If you still notice the issue on a specific page or element, please share some screenshots for better understanding to reproduce the issue on your site.

However, I am a bit confused by your reply.

You mentioned that you edited the page and configured the responsive visibility settings, after which everything worked correctly. Could you please explain exactly what you changed?

The reason I ask is that we are experiencing the same issue on multiple customer websites after updating WPBakery. Before the update, everything worked correctly without any modifications.

Could you please clarify:

Which page did you edit?
Which column(s) did you modify?
Did you simply open the responsive settings and save them again, or did you actually change any settings?
Was any CSS regenerated automatically after saving?
If re-saving the element fixes the issue, is this expected behaviour after the latest update?

Since we manage many websites using the same combination of WoodMart and WPBakery, we need to understand whether every page containing responsive elements now needs to be opened and saved again, or whether there is another underlying issue.

If you could provide the exact steps you performed, we can verify this on our other websites as well.

I have edited your test page, which you have sent, and edited the column and, in the responsive settings, hidden it on the desktop.
