iliadisParticipantHello,
I have a problem in some products.
I applied in some products discount with a discount rule plugin and you will see that it displays wrong discount percentage. First price is 12.37 and final price is 9.90, but it displays 50% discount. How we can fix this?I send you an example in private area.
This is illegal for eshops because is considered as misleading offers.
Thank you in advance.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
Best Regards

iliadisParticipantHello,
I tried Storefront and TwentyTwenty and other themes but they don’t display discount percentage, they display only “sale”. This is badge from woodmart, so maybe needs fix the code that calculates final discount?
I send you a product link that it’s wrong from staging site, to make your tests.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Now check back your site and check the sale label percentage. The sale label is working fine. Try to change the price and check how it works.
Best Regards

iliadisParticipantHello,
No, you just disable discount rule for changing price. If I enable it, I have the same problem.
Is there a way to work right with discount rule plugin?
Thank you in advance!

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I think you misunderstood the Sale percentage badge functionality, it only works with the theme or products Regular Price, and the Sale price does not work with any discount or 3rd party plugins.
You have to use the plugin’s Sale badge with Percentage. You can find all the settings related to the sale badge with Percentage in Woocommerce >> Discount Rules >> Settings >> Products section: https://ibb.co/3z0h1yx
I have set the settings for the sale badge from the plugin’s settings now you can see it overrides the theme sale badge and shows the correct percentage from the discount plugin: https://ibb.co/WnqzcZ0
So this is not the theme issue, it is the issue from the plugin’s settings. If you want to use the theme sale badge with the theme’s design then you should not use any 3rd party plugin.
I hope you can understand it now.
Best Regards.
