Wrong Products in Woodmart Compare Page

Hello,
I’ve got issues with my compare page : the products I select are not the ones that are displayed on the compare page except when I select them directly from the compare page.

Environment :
Wordpress type : Multisite (sub directories)
Host : o2Switch
Child Theme : activated (function woodmart_compare_display_field has been customized)
Cache Plugin : WP Rocket (compare page and woodmart_compare_list_2 cookie have been excluded)
Cloudflare cache : activated (compare page is bypassed with Page Rules)
Varnish cache : activated

Infos :
– I’ve disables WP Rocket : nothing changed
– I’ve disables Varnish cache : nothing changed
– I’ve disables Cloudflare : nothing changed
– I removed the custom woodmart_compare_display_field function : nothing changed
– I switched to the main theme : nothing changed
– woodmart_compare_list_2 cookie is filled up correctly
– I imported my products to a new wordpress install a few weeks ago (everything is working fine)
– When I remove one product from the comparison table, then table is updated with the correct products.
– When I add ?whatever to the compare page URL, then the correct products are displayed

It looks like a cache issue but when I disable all of them, the problem is still happening… I’m running out of ideas. Could you please help me?

Please try to exclude the Compare page and Wishlist page from the cache plugin and check again.

Please confirm the permit for us to deactivate the plugins not related to the theme and switch to the parent theme for the while of checking what may take up to 15 minutes.

Yes you can do it except WooCommerce if possible…
I removed WP Rocket, Cloudflare, Varnish and I already switched to woodmart parent theme.

I tried with Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Can you keep on adding and removing products? The bug occurs when you leave the compare page, select new products and come back to the compare page.

I don’t understand what you mean by “WP Rocket is deactivated but it worse” but I deactivated WP Rocket at the network level and it seems to work properly. So apparently it’s an issue with WP Rocket. I’ll investigate with them and I’ll come back to you if they say that their is something to do with the theme.

FYI WP Rocket investigated this problem and they fixed it. Here is their answer in case it can help you to improve the theme or help someone to solve this issue :

“I can see that the exclusions are set up correctly, and indeed the comparison page is not cached by WP Rocket, there is no folder for the page on the server:

I think it’s now a browser caching issue. When using Incognito mode (browser caching disabled) there is no problem.

But in a normal browser window, I could see that the comparison page is served from the browser cache, which is not updated. When reloading the page, the correct information then shows:

It’s because the page gets cached by the browser, due to this rule:

So I have added a different rule to the htaccess file to prevent this:
