YITH Premium Composite Items Wont add to cart. We are missing out on sales.

YITH COMPOSITE PRODUCTS Premium Plugin does not add addon products to cart even though selected.
It is the method of adding to cart. Tested with same plugins and default theme and it works. See screenshot. Switch back to Woodmart theme and it fails to add additional items to cart. Same plugins activated. Please help Christmas season coming and we are a produced site currently selling and wish to offer packages as does our competitors.

Screenshots attached: 1 is added to default theme, switched back to Woodmart items still there. You cannot add when running Woodmart. Cart does not register other items.

But I lose the cart open on sidebar when a product is added as a result?

Yes, unfortunately, this function works only with standard WooCommerce product types and can’t be integrated with all the extra fields that may be added with the help of additional plugins like yours.
