The Yoast Canonical URLs are not displaying in the code?

If you view the source, you will see that Yoast is installed, and there is no canonical url, even though it has been defined (see attached). It should technically be automatically generated without having to add it to the field.

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress theme like twentysixteen to understand is it our theme issue or not?

It’s not your theme. It appears that the canonical url is hidden when the “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” box is checked. Thanks for the quick replies!
