Zoom image icon

Hello!

I have set:
“Main image click action” -> “Photoswipe popup”
“Show “Zoom image” icon” -> “On”

But in product page I dont see such icon.

And Console shows me this warning:
This page uses the non standard property “zoom”. Consider using calc() in the relevant property values, or using “transform” along with “transform-origin: 0 0”.

Is there a connection? Any way to fix this?

Hello,

You can set either Zoom or Photoswipe popup in the Theme Settings > Product page > Images. It is not possible to set both in the same time. As for the error, deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated and provide the site admin access to the private area as well as page URL and screen.

If I choose Photoswipe, then why is the setting about zoom image even available? If it doesnt apply for Photoswipe, then you should disable (hide) it when Photoswipe is chosen.

But, on the other hand, Photoswipe still performs zooming function, because images on product pages are smaller than they appear on Photoswipe popup, so a zoom icon on Photoswipe image would also be appropriate.

In either case there is work for you to do.

What do you mean saying: “then why is the setting about zoom image even available?” Theme Settings provide three options: Zoom/Photoswipe/None. Please provide the screen of the problem.

But, on the other hand, Photoswipe still performs zooming function – please provide the screen.

When you enable the Photoswipe in the Theme Settings, Zoom is not effective. And when you enable Zoom, Photoswipe is not effective. If your site does not work in this way, deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated and provide the site admin access to the private area

Hello,

These icons become effective appears and call photo swipe when you have set the Zoom. I am checking the icon with Zoom enabled and it does not appear, though it should.

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated for us to check.
