all settings gone after updating theme

    Hi,

    I just updated the theme to the latest version manually, as my server does not accept to connect to your server with the purchase code. I work with the child theme.

    All my custom setting are gone now:
    – the shop sidebar
    – loco translate
    – advanced theme settings

    What is the correct way to upgrade the theme manually, without losing all my custom work and loco translations ?

    Hello,

    First of all, restore your site from the backup.

    Save your translation in wp-content/languages/themes/woodmart-pt_PT.po folder.

    Then follow this instruction to update the theme safely: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/update-theme-2/
