I’ve been using a child theme and have selected all of my fonts and colors but when I updated to the latest theme version the fonts change to the default and some of the colors revert back to the WoodMart green color – I’m not sure how to troubleshoot this

I’ve since rolled back to the previous version until I can figure it out. If it’s helpful I can run the theme update on a staging site

    Hello,

As you set some specific fonts and colors in your theme child version and you update the theme version.

After the update of theme you need to make sure that you activated the child version of theme. If you have third party plugins then deactivate them and clear your site cache and then check back. This will surely fix the issue.

    Best Regards.

    Hi Aizaz,

We have been able to do several theme updates since first installing the theme without issues – and the Child Theme was activated once the update was complete.

All styling/fonts/colors were set in the Child Theme – we have also tried deactivating plugins and clearing caches. Can someone please look into this further for us?

    Thanks,

    Ben

    Hello,

Normally if you have installed the child theme and added all the customization in the proper way, none of the settings would be lost.

If you have a backup of your website. Then you can import that backup and then update your theme to the latest version by following the below article:

    Best Regards.

If this is the best advice you can give me I’m not sure why I bothered paying to extend my support again for.

As I said – we have managed to update the theme several times without the styling being affected.

    Hello,

It is hard to say what happened so you lost your theme settings data. If you have a lot of CSS code we suggest you to use child theme and place all your code there. You can find it in the package downloaded from ThemeForest and install via Appearance -> Themes.

If you have your site backup then restore your backup and let us know. We will update your theme by ourselves.

You might have missed a step while updating your theme. Because usually theme settings not gone after the update of theme.

    Best Regards.
