How to change the background color of sub menu panel

Hi,

How can I change the background color of sub menu panel ow Woodmart theme? I want it to be black, as in the first sub panel. All other sub panels are white.

I tried adding following CSS:
.sub-menu-dropdown {
background-color: #222;
}

But it breaks the Category drop down.
I see there is .color-scheme-light style added to the black sub panel. How can I add it to the other white sub panels?
