Demo version

    I have a site currently up and running. I am thinking about redesigning it using one of the demo versions. If i set up one of the demo versions on my site will it override what I currently have or will it create any problems you know of?

    I will have my developer look at the shortcode.
    In the meantime, I set up a test site to try out the demo version and I have a couple of issues:

    1. I cant get the youtube video to play as a background. I kept all the settings the same as in the demo version and just changed the url to a video i posted on youtube but its not playing. I read the post titled “ROW VIDEO BACKGROUND” published on November 20, 2019 at 3:49 pm where Elise said “should process video before adding” with jw player. I signed up and uploaded the video to jw player but I dont know what “processing” means or how to do that. (I hope I dont have to buy a subscription)

    2.The testimonials section that I imported from additional elements is not displaying properly. In fact, I imported the element and it automatically assigned the testimonials I already have..I did not do anything.

    Can you check this please?

    Hello,

    1. Check the youtube URL once more, make sure your insert the proper URL format.

    2. Testimonials are filled out in the element, they do not have the option to import/export. You just need to create testimonials.

    If you look at my page, the testimonials are on top of each other without any design, and the content in the backend is different from the content showing on the page

    Thats what I did, I added the template style of the link I sent you in my last post. But then it filled everything in automatically, the backend content is different from what shows up on the website, and the layout style is completely different

    First, this https://prnt.sc/tn2h1n looks nothing like this https://woodmart.xtemos.com/blog/woodmart_element/testimonials-boxed-carousel/.

    Second, see attached to see what appears on the backend in wpbakery. Not only are those testimonials different from what is appearing on the page, but they are not even appearing.

    Whenever I import an element or template, it gets set up on the backend near exactly as I see it in your demos. But when i imported this testimonial template, it did not get set up as it is seen in the demo version.

    Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, make the full backup of your site and update the theme: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/update-theme-2/
