Translation issues

    Hi there!

    I trying to set up a shop in German language. Therefore I have added the German translation file for Woodmart (https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/theme-translations-files-sharing/#post-161175) and for woocommerce, but I am running into following issues:

    1) Is the po-file with 2,378 Strings still accurate?
    2) The most words/phrases get translated but there are 3 places which I do not know if the issue is coming from the woodmart-theme or woocoommmerce translation.

    1) product overview with “Show summary on hover” (shipping-costs)
    2) product page – shipping&delivery tab (product-page-shipping-delivery-tab)
    3) checkoutpage (checkout-page)

    Hello,

    The Summary of the product is translated in the product page.

    You can translate/rewrite all theme and plugin texts via PO file in WordPress. Here is a video tutorial that should help you translate your website texts with a Loco Translate plugin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3NsDdMzsls&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=3

    Please check the video tutorial to see how to save the translation file correctly. You can remove the plugin and translations would remain. Also, translations would remain after each theme update.

    Hi,
    I know I can use PO files in WP – as previously written I am using them already. However the issue is that there are 3 places which I do not know if the translation is coming from the woodmart-theme or woocoommmerce translation.

    Hello,

    1. Please provide the screen of what you mean.

    2. This tab is translated in the Theme Settings > Product page > Tabs.

    3. All the strings from the checkout page should be translated in Loco > plugins Woocommerce.

    Hello.
    I think there is a bug with translating. I am following the exact steps from this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3NsDdMzsls&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=3

    and “My Account” it’s not translated. I also tried to translate “Close” and it doesn’t work. Does anybody else have the same issues?

    Hello,

    My Account may relate to Woocommerce translation, so you need to create a translation in the same way in Loco > Plugins > Woocommerce.

    If this string relates to WoodMart, clean your cache and check.
