accosukParticipantI would like to add the top category items to my site’s main navigation which has other items. Please see attached image.
Kindly let me know if there is any shortcut to do so, or do I have to add it manually one by one. Thanks a lot.Attachments:

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You need to create the Product category menu in Appearance > Menu and then show it by means of the Product category element in the Header builder: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/product-category-menu/ and https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/add-edit-builder-elements/

accosukParticipantHi,
Thanks a lot for your reply.>>You need to create the Product category menu in Appearance > Menu
Do I have to add each category one by one, when creating the menu.
I have say, Home, About, Services & Contact items also on the main menu apart from the top categories.
Please let me know.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Yes, you need to create menu as you usually do in Appearance > Menu: adding all the categories.
Please provide the site admin access and screen how you want to place the elements.

accosukParticipantThanks.
Does Woodmart have any setting to select the main navigation.
It’s not set in the Appearance -> Menus as primary navigation or in Manage Locations.
Please let me know.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Main menu: you create and assign a menu in Appearance > Menu, and you show the main menu by means of a menu element in the Header builder. You will find more information here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/adding-menu-site/ and https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/woodmart-header-builder/ and https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/

For the Woodmart theme, the Main navigation is the main menu.. Please let me know where you have set it.
I checked the Appearance -> Menus tab and can’t see it set as main menu.
Please see attached screenshot of Appearance -> Menus sections from your theme. Please let me know where you have set it as main menu.

I have already created the menu & I understand to set it as the main site navigation, one can tick Main menu below the menu editor.
My question is on your theme, where exactly have you set Main navigation as the main (primary) menu.
Thanks..November 6, 2020 at 1:32 pm #239444
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
When you create or edit a menu in the bottom of the menu there are options to assign this menu to main or mobile.
Best Regards
