During my testorders I recognized, that the email notifications are not sent correctly.
E.g. when payment option is “Direct Bank Transfer” the status is set to “on-hold” and the according “on-hold” message should be sent to the customer. However, the test-customer receives a “order-confirmation” mail. This incorrect beahvior is confirmed by a mail logging plugin.
I enabled all emails in my settings.
Please make the full backup of your site as well as the Theme settings export and check the issue on the Storefront theme to detect if our theme causes the problem. Storefront is a free theme developed by Woocommerce.
