Show the weight attribute on the order details

When i make a product, if I show it as variable product with two type of weights, for example, 200g and 400g, when the customer select any of these weight, on the order details it’s shows the weight, like: Cheese – 200g. But when the product only have 1 weight, for example, 300g, it doesn’t show on the order details, it’s shows only: “Cheese”. Is there any way to show the weight too? It happens only when the product only have 1 weight (simple product), it doesn’t show on the order details or the invoice.
