    Hi,

Is there a way to know which strings from the theme POT are use for the frontend ?
I just want to translate those string not the entire PO file.

If not possible that may be a good idea to add this info into the POT file.

    Thanks

    Hello,

You can use the search in the Loco to search the certain strings and translate them.
Here is a video tutorial that should help you translate your website texts with a Loco Translate plugin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3NsDdMzsls&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=3

Please check the video tutorial to see how to save the translation file correctly. You can remove the plugin and translations would remain. Also, translations would remain after each theme update.

    Best Regards

    Hi,

Sorry but I don’t need this plugin at all.

I want to know what are the strings in your POT file that are related to frontend.

I’m using Poedit so could you give me the string ID that are related to frondend \ store.

As I can see there is not note or no source defined in your POT file to figure out which strings are related to the frontend or I am missing something?

This not make sense to translate the whole POT just for a few frontend strings.

    Hello,

POT file does not have any differentiation. We do not have either. You can check the frontend to and all the stings on the front-end related to the theme.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

You should add a note to all frontend strings if there are not much that would save time and this will ensure we don’t forget any strings. As I may miss some string during the verification.

In general web application that use POT file add a note or make 2 different POT files.
