    Hello,

I’m trying to add icons to the categories in my “BROWSE CATEGORIES” menu in header bottom. I’ve added an icon into the product categories that I want to add to this dropdown.

When I try to add a category menu item to the Categories menu in Appearance > Menus, I can only see the Woodmart categories:
    – Decoration
    – Design trends
    – Furniture
    – Uncategorized
    – Video Tutorial
    – What’s New
    – 3D Measuring
    – Deliveries
    – DISTO Apps
    – Exhibitions and Tool Fairs
    – Showroom

How do I choose my product categories and the icon to display in this menu?

    Many thanks,

    Hello,

Please check this manual to find out how to add the categories: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/product-category-menu/ and https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/adding-menu-site/

    Best Regards

    Hi,

I’ve followed the steps in the product-category-menu manual but I can’t select my desired category, as the product categories that I’ve added aren’t appearing as an option in the Appearance > Menus > Add menu items > Categories > Search

Eg. see uploaded screenshots – I added an icon to my Leica 3D Measurement product category. But then I try to add the category as a menu item to the BROWSE CATEGORIES menu.

    Thank you

    Hello,

Please make sure you are adding Product categories, not Blog categories. You need to enable the Product categories in the Screen options of Appearance > Menu in the right top corner.

Then if you add SVG images you need to open your SVG icons file with some editor like Sublime Text or default system text editor and add width=”31″ height=”40″ attributes to your <svg>tag like it is shown: http://prntscr.com/m4n0qw
Then you will need to re-upload your icons in WordPress and assign to the categories.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
