shopping cart pop up widget thing not working

Hi there, I’ve noticed more commonly now that the cart pop up when you click it often doesn’t load anything, its just blank leaving me literally no way of going to checkout? We have a lot of customers coming and going each day, why is this happening.
Have tried on safari and google chrome, same issue.
To confirm, it tends to be when you click the cart in the corner, rather than when you add items to cart. Thanks

Hi thanks, but I am using a child theme, how can I do this? Can you send me a child theme that I can use please?
I just updated the them, does that mean the child theme would be updated too?
