I added a portfolio but I don't see nothing on the page

Hi,

I have 2 questions:

1. I added the module Portfolio, added the categories, added some projects but nothing is showing on the page http://dev4.obviousmedia.nl/projecten/.

2. How can I delete the white space before the footer? I disabled the pre footer on every page but it is still showing on the pages.

Hello,

1. Portfolio content is created in the “Projects” tab (or rather in Dashboard -> Projects).

Therefore to be able to add some portfolio items you should create a category in it. As we can see from the below screenshot you don’t have it.

2. The white space before the footer can be removed by adding a negative value for the last section of the page in your page builder.

Thanks for your quick reply.

In this case it’s about the website on http://dev4.obviousmedia.nl. Could you please look again at this website, it is still on developing mode but you can see it via http://dev4.obviousmedia.nl.

The page that should perform the functions of “Portfolio” must have the appropriate template that you can set via the “Template” field from the right side of the page’s settings.

Hi Luke,

Thanks for your quick reply. I changed the template to Portfolio and now I see two categories: All and Auto. But when I visit http://dev4.obviousmedia.nl/projecten/ I see no results and see on the left side a sidebar. When I click on the category Auto I see results but the layout is different from the portfolio page, see attachment.

As you have already understood the font size of the categories was small because the sidebar appeared on the “Portfolio” page.

Hi Luke,

Thanks for your reply. I see that my cache was the problem.

When I look at the portfolio archive the pictures are not the same height. How can I get the pictures on the same height?

Hello,

The problem with the pictures itself, they should be the same sizes. In your case, they are different therefore you need to upload equal pictures and then check it.
