ThoraParticipantHello,
it’s very nice to have brand images (on the single product view) linked to an archive page, where all products of this brand are listed like this:
https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/?filter_brand=nicheAs a logical consequence, it would be very useful (when there are more than just a few demo products) to have a possibility to filter them by category, e.g. like the filter by color on the linked page. I searched the widgets, but couldn’t find a way to add this. Is there an option that I only overlooked or is this planned?
Thank you in advance.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
You need to add a Product categories widget by Woocommerce, it would filter the products by category with AJAX.

ThoraParticipantHello Elise,
do you mean this premium plugin by itthinx, that is also listed and documented at woocommerce.com?
This feature is not included? As explained, this would be very useful especially in combination with the linked brand filter / archive pages.

ThoraParticipantHello,
that widget is only a simple WooCommerce category link menu and not a filter widget: It does show all products of the clicked category and not a filter for only the listed (and e.g. pre-filtered) products on the current page.
A better example would be this brand filter link:
https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/?filter_brand=eva-solo&demo=As a logical consequence, it would be very useful to have a possibility to filter them by category – in this example it would be: Accessoires / Clocks / Furniture / Toys.
Especially with more than only this few demo products, a category filter would add a much better user experience.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
If you mean filers on the left in the sidebar, these are WoodMart filter widgets: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/widgets-and-sidebars/
The product categories widget does not have such options, unfortauntely.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards
