How to create product filters

Hello,
I would like to add filters to my archive page but for now I only have stock status. The page is created from Layouts > Products archive. I tried to add filters by attribute in the Shop Filters Widget area but it didn’t change anything.
Must I download Woocommerce filters plugin or is there another way to do this without the plugin?

Can I just ask you how is it possible to customize filters display? More specifically, I would like to:
– hide the number of products for each filter (see screenshot)
– reduce space between lines to have the overall section shorter
– erase de scrolling for colors, just have them in line as the other filters
Is this possible?

And forth element I would like to customize : the format of the font of filters titles (I don’t find it in advanced typography in theme settings)

I was able to solve some things:
– hide the number of products for each filter : selected Tag OFF in the widget area of the filters
– format of the font of filters titles : Theme Settings > Typography > Widgets titles font
I leave the rest as is then.
