we have detected in our online store test.coabe.es that both in the product catalog and in the store page, there are variable products that are randomly detected as simple.
We have detected this error because the default button ‘Select options’ of the variable products does not appear in some products, but appears the ‘Add to cart’ of simple product; and because it does not appear the price range of the product variables, but only a fixed amount.
The display error seems to be random: in the elementor edition of the home page, the product catalog is displayed correctly, with the correct price range and button; and when you open the same page in two different browsers or incognito pages, different products are displayed incorrectly. We have also observed that at most, two or three products are displayed correctly, because when you filter the products by categories on the same page of the store, the products are displayed correctly, but only if they are less than 2-3 products.
On the other hand, when you access the product itself, the price range is displayed correctly, as well as in the product edition.
In the process of solving this error, we have checked that the products have no difference between them, we have created new products and duplicated the ones that are displayed correctly, we have deactivated plugins, checked php versions and updated the theme to the latest version, but we have not found the solution to the problem.
