    Hi,

I’m using the accordion option for the product page tabs.
How do I prevent an opened tab to be closed when another tab is clicked?

    Regards

    Hello,

For the Accordion style of the Tab, you can find two options under the Dashboard > Theme Settings > Single Product > Tabs > Accordion state > there you can find the options > First opened or All closed: https://snipboard.io/CLWdc8.jpg

You can select the one that you like.

    Hi,

    It’s not what i asked.

I asked how can i disable the action that closes an accordion tab when I click on a new accordion tab?
I want that all the accordion tabs will be closed manually and not auto when another tab clicked.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Sorry for the earlier misunderstanding.

But right now it is working dynamically under the Theme and there isn’t an option available to control that. It requires Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy scope. Hope you can understand our limitations.

    Thanks.

Any plan to release this option in the future same as the options you mentioned in your first comment?

and one more question please if we already talking about it. Is it possible to add icons to each accordion tab?

    Hello,

1- Thanks for sharing the suggestion/feature request with us, we are forwarding this to our development department for consideration to add it in the Theme, but we are not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a Theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may cause Theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own Customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the Theme environment then surely they will look through it. Thanks for your understanding.

2- Sorry to say but unfortunately there isn’t an option available for that too at the moment. But there is an alternative way possible in this regard, it is a bit difficult that might not suit you because for that you need to know a bit of HTML/CSS and how to use the Inspect tool of the browser. But as you have asked so we have made a detailed Video Guide in that regard, please check that if it works for you:

    Hey,
Thank you very much. Appreciate the quick guide you shared.

    I have another concern now.

The first accordion tab include a lot of content, means when it opened, you have to scroll down to read it all.
When you click on the second tab, the first tab closing automatically, which requires the whole content (include the second tab content), to be moved to the top of the page, and the screen that you will see then will probably be the footer.

How can i fix it, so once the second tab opened (and the first closed), the page will be scrolled up automatically?

    Regards!

    Hello,

Sorry to say but like we mentioned you earlier, that the Accordion works dynamically right now and unfortunately there is no option in the Theme Settings available to change that. It requires Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy scope. Hope you can understand our limitations.

Further, regarding knowing the current default working of the Accordion in this regard you can check out one of the Product from our Test Site: https://blackpearlspro.com/woodmart_support/product/eames-plastic-side-chair/

    Best Regards
