Hovering on badge image shows the slug on the attribute and not the descripption

Hello guys,

I am hovering over the badge image and it shows the attribute slug “aromatic-white” (as on the screenshot attached), I would like to show the description of the attribute (as seen on the second screenshot).
Is it possible to fix it to work this way?

Hi,

Yes, there is an option. You can find it in the Theme settings > Product page > Show/hide element. Short
description – Enable/disable short description text in the product’s summary block. https://postimg.cc/KkMCsxWk

If you want to show the short description hover on the product then go to product style. https://postimg.cc/zVFvcrmc.

That’s not what I asked.
I know about the short description.
I asked about hovering over the BADGE (see the first screenshot), it shows the ATTRIBUTE slag, I would like it to show the ATTRIBUTE description (see the second screenshot – it is ATTRIBUTE description).

Hello,

No, It is not possible to show the brand information on the grid. There is too little space for that. However, you can show the full information about the brand or another attribute in a product tab. You can configure that. You do not need to add it to each product. Here are the instructions:

I didn’t ask for brand information.
I added a badge for an attribute with the drop image.
When I hover over the badge, the slug is displayed (see attached image “aromatic-white”).
In the attribute information in woocommerce, I added the description for the attribute.
The customer wants to see this attribute description (on hover) and not the slug (as on the screenshot).
Is it possible? (It should work this way, there is not reason to show the slug).

Hello,

Sorry to say but right now there is no option in Theme Settings available for that. It requires Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy scope. Hope you can understand our limitations.

Thanks for the answer.
Just check this functionality, I think it is not good user experience for the end user.
I suggest you to think about it.
Woodmart is a great theme! Showing the slug on hover is not right and doesn’t fit the quality of the theme.
If you are not going to show the description, at least disable the slug display.

Please note that our theme is continually under development and we are constantly researching and improving its features. We apologize if the current display of the slug on hover does not meet your expectations or fit the quality of the theme.
