Please advise on the best path to achieve a dynamic list display as shown, we tired creating static menu list, but the issue when we try and display this, the menu lists do not wrap, so when using the Aside menu type you have to scroll to see the menus. I do not see a way to wrap a list in the Aside menu. The issue with this is the data on the screen is too large. Please note the menu and items have been redacted for privacy.

Thus we are trying to use some type of dynamic filter display to prevent having to hand update menu items as it’s subject to change all the time. Please see this demo. https://woodmart.xtemos.com/megamarket/

    Thank you and best regards…

We also tried the standard menu display but the levels are way too deep and the fly-out goes off canvas, so the menus need to flex based on the canvas size shown.

Hence why we want to use the theme mega menus with flex control based on the canvas size, yet we see no simple way to use the categories taxonomies that we have found yet. The method below as shown does not work for usability, thus we must find a better way.

    Thanks and best regards.

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience.

We do not have the option to move the menu to another column, and it is not possible to customize with CSS.

Please check the option on how you can create a mega menu: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/create-mega-menu/ and add it to the site: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/adding-menu-to-the-site/

As for the another issue. Our default drop-downs in menu are implemtend by common practice applied in all the theme, including Storefront: “position: absolute”.

Custom CSS cannot change the behavior and nature the drop-down menu. You can set full-width, Set size or Sticky menu in the menu items.

You would better re-arrange five level menu into mega-menu blocks by means of titles and times if different size and style.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
