In this case, navigate to WoodMart -> Header builder -> edit the “Search” element and for the “Post type” set the “All post types” value.

Ok so now I have set it to show only portfolio items. However I want to change the text that gets displayed when clicking on the search button. Instead os saying, search for projects- I want it to say search for products. How can I do it? Also want to change- Start typing to view projects you are looking for to products you are looking for. How to do?

Oh no. I don’t want to install any plugins to do this as it affects performance. Any other way to do this?
Hello,
With the help of Loco Translate, you can change text, then remove that plugin and the changed text will be saved. Otherwise, you can copy the woodmart_search_form function (inc/modules/search.php) to your child theme and edit it there per your needs.
