    Hello,

my shopping cart and my checkout look different than in the theme demo color fashion. How can I customize it again? I want the same design as in your demo.

    Regards

    Hello,

Your issue has been resolved. Might be you had customized the custom layout that is why it messed up.
    Check back your site.

These are the custom layouts for functional woocommerce pages. Please check this manual how it works:
    https://xtemos.com/docs-cat/woocommerce-layouts-builder/?theme=woodmart

    Best Regards.

Another question: If I changed the haeder on the frontpage by switching to “Make it Overlap”, then there is a distance to the slider. How can you change that and why is it like that?

    Hello,

You can find the option in the Advanced tab for Elementor.
    Here is the Manual:
    https://elementor.com/help/create-space-with-padding-and-margin/

There are some predefined Custom Layouts available under the Dashboard > Layouts > which you can make use of for the checkout page. You can read more about the Theme’s Layout Builder here:
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/

    Best Regards.

Regarding the distance (slider/header) on the front page:
So, the “Advanced Tab” didn’t help. The upper distance still exists. Funnily enough, during a test installation it worked for me once that there was no distance and sometimes it didn’t work.

    About the checkout layout:
Here too I had a different layout in another test installation. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it is Elementor and the other test installation was in WP Backary. However, the layout looks different than in the demo. For example, the top navigation field cannot be displayed (Shopping cart / Checkout / ..). There is also no payment button in the checkout. The express payments cannot be displayed. Can you please help me with this? I really can’t go any further.

    Hello,

Please check how it works with the default WordPress theme and Woocommerce Storefront theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not. Also, please check the site with our theme but only with the theme default plugins activate, and deactivate all the 3rd party plugins from the site.

If it works fine with the default WordPress theme then let me know so I will check it myself and help you out accordingly.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

thank you very much for your feedback.
At the beginning I only installed the included plugins and the error already existed.

The theme is installed as a child theme.

When I installed WP Backery in the trial installation, which I had already deleted, the error did not exist.

    The following errors exist:

    – Shopping cart:
The express payment methods (Paypal / Amazon) are not displayed.

    – Check out:
The express payment methods are not displayed.
The “Place Order” button is not available.

    And at the checkout page:
    – The free shipping is not displayed
    – The coupon area looks different.

Andone more thing, I have problems with my widgets. I get different errors and cant modify them.

    Hello,

    1. The Paypal is not showing on the cart page because you are using the custom layout for the cart and checkout pages. This is coming from the 3rd party plugin so please ask the plugin author support how to add these buttons in the theme’s custom layout. This is not related to the theme issue.
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/shopping-cart-page-builder/

    2. The checkout page is showing differently because you are using the custom Layout for the checkout page as well. Please read and follow the instructions here about the custom layout:
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/checkout-page-builder/

3 Your widgets issue has been solved. Now you can edit the widget easily from Appearance >> Widgets.

    Best Regards.

    Thank you very much.

    1. Why did the integration work when I used WP Backery? I think it should also be in your interest that PayPal works normally on the theme.

    2. Now I have removed the custom layout and it looks completely different than in the shop demo on your homepage. The custom layout also looked different.

    3. Thank you, not it works.

    4. If the custom layout was activated, there was no longer a “Proceed Checkout” button. If the custom layout is off, then it will be displayed.

    5. As already mentioned, the problem did not exist with WP Backery. Neither with PayPal, nor with the design, nor with the button. I don’t want deleting the entire installation and switching to WP Backery, which shouldn’t be the point..

    Thank you in advance.

    6. The backend language can no longer be displayed in German after the procedure.

    #524243

    Hello,

Ok, just wait, I will check and give you the solution to this issue related to the cart and checkout.

Also, I have changed the language for the backend, because I can not understand the German language. I will revert it to German after solving the issue.

    Best Regards.

    Just for your information:

I see that you are working in the backend and I have seen, that in the footer the left two areas are no longer visible.

    Hello,

I have confirmed with the lead developer and he said that in this case, you need to use the Hook element. Please read and follow the instructions here:

    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/custom-hooks-and-plugins-compatibility/

    Best Regards.

    Thank you for your feedback.

Also I have to say that I am disappointed.

    1. since your customizing and fixing the widgets, almost all the preset widgets are now different in the demo. On the shopping page, in the footer, etc. All settings are gone.

    2. I don’t want to customize anything on the product page. The checkout page and the shopping cart just look different than in the theme demo and I keep getting told that I am using a custom layout, even though none was set in the beginning.
In the shopping cart are missing:
    – The PayPal Express Checkout
    – The free shipping display
    – Cross sells are not displayed.
    Missing in the checkout:
    – The PayPal Express Checkout
    – The free shipping display
    – The coupon display looks different than in the demo.

None of this was a problem when I used WP Backery.
It can’t be that your theme apparently doesn’t work with Elementor with the oficial plugin from PayPal and I’m the only one who has the problem and you keep referring me to some articles.

Please adjust it for me or give me a hint how I can get back to WP Backery, without loosing anything. If you load a theme demo, then everything should look exactly like in the demo and it is not the case for me.

    3. furthermore, my site is still set to English after your last intervention and cannot be switched to German after the manual setting.

    #524639

    Hello,

If you have the backup of the site, please run the site backup and then follow the solution I have given. I did not touch anything on the site other than the custom layouts of the cart and checkout pages.

    Best Regards.

Sorry, the answer helps me zero.

Neither my question is answered, why I can’t just have the checkout and shopping cart page that is in the demo, nor how I finally get my missing Proceed button in the checkout page, nor how I get the other questions above solved.

I have to say that other providers have helped me more and I actually want my money back for the initial errors and don’t feel like working with the theme wuld be a good solution..

After a lot of self-checking, I have now discovered that the layputs you provided have a problem with Germanized / Germanized Pro and that is why the button to complete a purchase is missing in the checkout.
However, I read in your forum that your theme shouldn’t actually have a problem with Germanized.
    I ask for clarification.

I have now corrected a few errors myself:
    – Changing the language (was set in the user area, not in the settings)
    – Widgets look different (Woodmart was set as a Perant Theme, everything now looks good again as a Child Theme, what was before)
    – PayPal Express (the problem still exists at the shopping cart and checkout)
    – The button in the checkout to complete the purchase does not work with Germanized.

    #524948

    Hello,

    1. PayPal Express: You need to add a Hook element as per the article.
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/custom-hooks-and-plugins-compatibility/
    OR
You need to contact the plugin developer to ask for the name of the hook it needs or disable the custom layout.

    2. If the place order button is not showing on the checkout page, then the same solution with hooks will also apply on this as per the article:
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/custom-hooks-and-plugins-compatibility/

You need to contact plugin developers and ask for the name of the hook. Or walk through all the hooks one by one.

Or just disable custom layout if you doesn’t want to customize the checkout page with Elementor.

    Best Regards.
