Optional phone number in checkout page

Hello,
I would like to make entering the phone number optional for customers on the checkout page. Currently, customers are required to provide their phone number to complete the order. I am unable to modify this option in Appearance – Customization – WooCommerce – Checkout. Could you help me?

You can check the option in Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Checkout. You will find the option to hide or make optional use of the “Phone field”.

I have already tried through this menu and it’s the same, the “checkout/order” button is grayed out. I can’t edit. It only offers me to edit the validation page in the page editor

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP admin login details of your site so I will check and give you a possible solution.
