    Hey guys,

I have an issue which I don’t understand.

I have a website built in September 2024 when I last configured the theme settings in the wordpress CMS.

Since then everything worked fine and today I did an update on the cookie bar and saved changes. After the save I get an error because the site is trying to fetch the theme settings from September in the wp-content/uploads folder and that file no longer exists. Instead I have a new version of that file in the November folder.

Why is this happening? it it seems like bug.
And how can I fix this?

    Thanks

I fixed it by copying the file back to the 09 folder but I still need an answer as this workaround cannot be permanent.

    Hello,

That folder that you have removed is necessary. WordPress cannot delete a folder on its own, because in WordPress, by default, such folders are created every month and files are loaded there.

    Kind Regards

    Hello,

Our theme cannot affect the WordPress default files, so if somehow some WP folders are removed from your site, this is not something related to the theme as the theme itself doesn’t have access to those files.

Thank you for your time and have a good day!

    Kind Regards
