I’m experiencing an issue with translations not appearing in the mini cart and breadcrumbs on the checkout page. I’m using the Loco Translate plugin, and all necessary translations are present in the .po and .mo files. However, they are not being applied on the website.

Here’s what I’ve checked so far:

The .po and .mo files are synchronized and located in the /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder.
Caching is not the issue — I’ve cleared the site, browser, and server caches.
Other strings from the Woodmart theme are translated correctly.
Translations for WooCommerce are also configured, but the strings related to the mini cart and breadcrumbs are not part of WooCommerce translations.
The attached screenshots show examples of untranslated strings:

“Shopping cart” and “Checkout” in the breadcrumbs.
“Close,” “Subtotal,” “View cart,” and “Proceed to checkout” in the mini cart.
I’ve attached screenshots to illustrate the issue.
Could you please help me resolve this and advise on why these translations are not being applied?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Please use the Loco Translate plugin on your site. After installing the plugin please Navigate to Loco >> Themes >> Woodmart >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.

Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> Woocommerce >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.

Also, please Navigate to Loco >> Plugins >> Woodmart-Core >> Edit the translation which you are using for the site >> Click the Sync button >> Find the words and add the translation for them and save it.

    Note:
    1. Custom (recommended)
    2. This is Loco’s protected folder under “wp-content/languages/loco/” which is safe from automatic updates and provides priority over the above locations.

If this folder doesn’t exist you may need to create it and ensure it has the correct permissions.

    Dear Support Team,

Thank you for your response. I’ve followed the instructions you provided, including syncing translations and ensuring all necessary strings are translated in Loco Translate under Woodmart, WooCommerce, and Woodmart Core. However, the issue persists: strings like “Shopping cart” and “Checkout” in the breadcrumbs, and “Close,” “Subtotal,” “View cart,” “Proceed to checkout” in the mini cart are still not being translated on the website.

    Here are the key details:

All translations exist in the .po and .mo files.
I’ve cleared all caches and verified the files are stored in the recommended location (/wp-content/languages/loco/).
Other strings from the Woodmart theme are translated correctly, so the issue seems specific to these elements.
I suspect the problem might be that these strings are not correctly wrapped in translation functions in the theme or its related plugins.
Could you please investigate further or confirm if these strings are translatable and where they are located in the theme/plugin files? If needed, I can provide additional information or grant access to the site for a closer look.

    Thank you for your assistance!
    Best regards,
