    Hi There,

    I am building a website for a client & its super slow. I’ve installed a cache plugin (WP Fastest Cache), max CDN & imagify photo optimizer, but the site is running super slow. Can you help me?

    Hello,

    Could you please describe how did you measure the site speed? Please, disable all external plugins that are not related to our theme (including cache) and provide us a step by step instruction on how to reproduce the problem.

    Ok so here is what I have done. I hired a guy to improve the overall page speed on GT Metrix and he did a good job getting the score. The page speed is 92% & Yslow is 85%, however it was still very slow to load when browsing my website. He recommended upgrading the server so I did that and the site is still performing poorly. Is there a way you can go into my site and see if there is something wrong?

    I am pretty frustrated here, considering I’ve spent over 2 months building the site, adding over 40 products with variables.

    The front end optimization is good, but the backend of the website is not. That is why I am asking you for help. Can you log into my account or give me some recommendations here?

    But our theme doesn’t influence your backend performance. We don’t have any custom functionality there that may cause this problem.

    So here is what my hosting company said about the site being so slow. Please let me know your thoughts.

You and your web developer will need to review the resource usage of your account and take steps to reduce the load your site is creating.     We have checked but don’t see any server side issues that would result in slow performance on your site. Optimization in general would help reduce resources and improve page load speed. Optimization would include some of the following and can be performed by you or your developer:

    – I’m listing this first as this looks to be your main problem. The WordPress cron job is running pretty often which does consume resources.     This information doesn’t mention our theme. There are some general recommendations only. They don’t point you that there are some problems with our theme scripts. If such were we would check and help you.

    All I am asking here is that you log into my account to see what the issue is. Your responses have been very combative and I don’t appreciate that lack of help your giving me.

    I will be leaving a review of my experience with your theme & Customer Service regardless if you want to “SUPPORT” me or not.

    Scripts come with WordPress and additional plugins installed, not only with our theme. There are may be a lot of different factors influencing your backend performance.
