    Hallo,
    Hermann

    Hello,

If you want to edit the search result page with Elementor you need to create a custom layout for this.

Dashboard > Layouts > Add new and create layout for search result page.

For more details and guidance, feel free to check this article:
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/

If you face any issue related to the layout, share the wp login details so I can further check on your site and give you a possible solution.

    Hallo Aizaz,

    Hello,

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know I will check and give you a possible solution.

    Best Regards,

    Hallo,
Also was soll das mit “Alle plug ins deaktivieren…”?

    Hello,

I completely understand your frustration. In your specific case, the issue appears to be related to pagination — on the first click, the widgets don’t load correctly, but after refreshing the page, they appear as expected.

For testing this issue, please try to create a Staging platform where you can test issues, enable/disable features/plugins, thus such changes will affect the main site. Also, share the wp login details of the staging site so I can further check on your site and give you a possible solution.

The article below will help you to create it:

Hallo das ist für mich kein Problem. Habe euch alles bereitgestellt.

    Hello,

For the search results page to display the widgets correctly, you’ll need to assign a WooCommerce shop sidebar to your shop page.

You’ll need to add a WooCommerce shop sidebar to your shop page. Once the shop page has its own sidebar, the search results page will also work properly with the widgets.

Right now, you’re using the Home sidebar created with Elementor, but product archives (like shop and search results) are WooCommerce pages, so they display widgets from WooCommerce sidebars. Setting the sidebar there will make it work as expected.

Now, on your testing site, I have added the sidebar in the shop page and disabled the custom layout for the search results pag,e and it is working fine now, but if you want to edit the search result page with Elementor, you need to add the product archive widget in the layout.

Please check back your site and check the issue. If you have any questions feel free to contact us.

    Hello XTemos Support,
Thank you for your efforts and suggested solutions.
That was my original first thought, too. That’s why I built the entire website with the Woodmart sidebar. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the individual product view. The bar wasn’t working there. It wasn’t displayed at first. When I built the individual product page in Elementor, the sidebar was diagonally offset. I then contacted Elementor Support. They told me to build the pages with an integrated sidebar. Now you come along and tell me the opposite. That’s a bit problematic for me. The individual category pages are also a problem. I have to resort to Elementor Pro for this.
The way you’ve changed it for me at the moment is a solution. But unfortunately, it’s not a clean solution, because when the search results page or the shop page loads, the sidebar is displayed in a different position. That’s not very nice.
I’m also experiencing the problem that the header graphic is sometimes not displayed when I access some pages via the category menu. That’s very strange.
Do you have another possible solution? That would be great.
I don’t know how you reconnected the search results page to the sidebar. Could you please explain that to me again?
But I would prefer a clean solution. I would like a consistent look and feel. I hope you understand.
    Best regards,
    Hermann

    Hello,

I didn’t add a separate filters sidebar directly to the search results page. What I did was assign the WooCommerce shop sidebar to the Shop page through:

Theme Settings > Product Archive > Sidebar — set the sidebar position there.

Then, in Pages > Edit Shop Page, I selected the specific sidebar in the page settings at the bottom.

With this setup, WooCommerce automatically uses the same sidebar for both the Shop page and the search results page, so the widgets display consistently without needing extra configuration.

If you prefer to design the search results page with Elementor, you’ll need to create a custom layout and include the Product Archive widget — but keep in mind that this will bypass the default WooCommerce sidebar setup.

When configured this way, the same sidebar will appear consistently on both the Shop page and the search results page, ensuring a uniform look and feel.

This approach avoids having to separately configure the search results page and keeps the design clean and consistent.

Hello Xtemos Support, thank you for your patience. I think I understand and have been able to replicate it on the current website. I would prefer this approach as well.

However, I still have a problem with the single product page. If I choose the WooCommerce standard here as well, I can’t set up a sidebar. Is this not possible, or have I overlooked a setting? Or do I have to revert to the sidebar on the page?

    Best regards,
    Hermann

    Hello,

Navigate to Theme Settings > Single Product > Single product sidebar > Select Sidebar alignment for single product pages.

Then, You can add widgets from Appearance > Widgets > add the widgets in the Single product page widget area.

    Follow this Guide: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/widgets-and-sidebars/

    Hello Aizaz Imtiaz Awan.
Thank you so much. I’m getting better and better at using the theme now. I’ve just found the relevant setting for individual products. Unfortunately, I can’t assign anything there. Could you please take another look. I can’t assign a widget in either the Woodmart template or the Elementor template.
I’m also having the same problem with the individual category pages created in Elementor. Unfortunately, I can’t assign a sidebar here either.
Could you please help me again?
    Best regards,
    Hermann
