reneersloanParticipantHi Woodmart Team,
I’m writing to report an urgent issue. The Estimated Delivery Date calculation is showing incorrect, unrealistic delivery times to our customers. This is a critical problem as it misleads them and will likely lead to complaints and lost sales.
Settings: Prep: 1-3 business days, Shipping: 3-5 business days (Total: 4-8 business days).
Scenario: Viewing the page on a Friday (Oct 3).
Incorrect Result Shown: Oct 8 – Oct 10.
Correct Expected Result: Should be Oct 9 at the earliest.
This is having a major impact on our customer experience. We would greatly appreciate it if you could give this issue a high priority.
Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
We checked the configuration and see that it works correctly. You have 7-12 days and two days off every week. So the calculation is correct
Kind Regards

reneersloanParticipantHi Artem,
Thank you for your continued correspondence. To be perfectly clear, there are three distinct problems with the delivery date feature that need to be resolved.
I cannot find your settings page. You sent a screenshot of a page where a “7-12 day” rule is configured. I cannot find this page in the theme settings. Could you please provide the exact menu path to get to this page?
The Product Page calculation is wrong. On the product page, the settings are 1-3 prep days + 3-5 shipping days. For an order placed on a Friday (Oct 3), the earliest delivery should be the next Thursday (Oct 9) because of the weekend. Your system incorrectly shows Wednesday (Oct 8).
The Customer Email is inconsistent with the Product Page. The email shows a completely different estimate (“7-12 days”). This should not happen. As I’ve shown you, I only have one shipping zone configured (for the UK), so there is no reason for the theme to use different, incorrect data in the email.
Please provide the settings path from point #1, and investigate the calculation error in point #2 and the data inconsistency in point #3.
Thank you.

Artem TemosKeymasterPlease refer to our documentation to learn how our estimated delivery calculation can be configured. You can find a video tutorial there as well https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/estimate-delivery/

reneersloanParticipantHi Artem,
Thank you. Following your directions, I have now found that settings page. This brings up a critical question about how your feature is designed to work.
On this settings page, the fields are “Minimum days” and “Maximum days” (I have set them to 3 and 5). Does this time range NOT include our “1-3 day” preparation time?
I ask because on the front-end product page, the information pop-up (the small ‘?’ icon) clearly displays BOTH a preparation time AND a shipping time.
It seems your system is aware of the preparation time for the pop-up, but then ignores it in the final date calculation. This is a major reason the final dates are inaccurate.
Could you please clarify:
Are the “Minimum/Maximum days” for shipping time only?
If so, where are we supposed to configure the preparation time so it is included in the final calculation?
Thank you.

Artem TemosKeymasterThe tooltip itself is just a text information you specified while editing the delivery calculation rule. It is not included in the calculation

reneersloanParticipantHi Artem,
Thank you for your clarification. I now understand how the settings work and have configured my UK delivery rule correctly by combining the preparation and shipping times.
However, this leads me to the main critical bug that still needs to be solved.
I have two delivery rules set up: one for the UK and one for the US. The problem is that when a customer enters a UK shipping address, the order email they receive is showing the delivery estimate from my US rule.
To be clear:
The product page correctly shows the UK estimate.
The customer’s email incorrectly shows the US estimate.
Since the customer’s address is in the UK, the system should always use the UK rule. Could you please investigate why the theme is applying the wrong rule in the email?
Thank you.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
It shows the information based on the address specified in the shopping cart (not in the account). So once you select a proper shipping zone on the cart page, you will see an appropriate estimate of delivery information both on the cart page and on the product page.
Kind Regards

reneersloanParticipantHi Artem,
Thank you for your continued help. I’m trying to better understand the logic, and I’ve run into a point of confusion that I hope you can clarify for me.
Here is my current setup and what I have tested:
In WooCommerce -> Shipping Zones, I only have the United Kingdom configured. I do not have a shipping zone for the USA. I have also tested this myself in an incognito browser and can confirm that when a customer calculates shipping in the cart, the United Kingdom is the only country option available for them to choose.
In the WoodMart Estimated Delivery Dates settings, I have created two separate rules: one for the UK and one for the US.
My confusion is this: When a customer who can only select a UK address places an order, the final email they receive still shows the delivery estimate from my US rule.
Since a customer’s journey is restricted to the UK shipping zone only, I don’t understand how the US rule from your theme’s settings is being triggered in the email. Could you please help me understand how the theme decides which rule to apply?
Thank you for your help in figuring this out.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
We noticed that the US zone is not activated in the Products -> Estimate delivery section. As a result, you’re only seeing the UK estimation at the moment. Please revisit your website and send us a screenshot of the issue if you encounter any.
Kind Regards
