    Hi,

Please describe in more detail the issue you’re having so we can help you. Also, the website link you provided is currently under maintenance mode, so we can’t view it without additional access credentials.

    Kind Regards

    Hello,

    1. I have created a temporary admin login using the “Temporary Login Without Password” plugin.

➡️ The access link has been provided in the **Private Content** field of this ticket, as per your usual procedure.

    2. Please note: The website is currently in **maintenance mode**, but the temporary login link provided **bypasses** it and gives you full admin access.

    3. Here are the main issues I need help with:

    – **Icons not displaying**: In the product category menu (on the shop page), the SVG icons assigned to each product category do not appear correctly.

    – **Mobile-only categories**: On mobile devices, several unexpected categories appear that are not visible on desktop. How can I **edit or remove** these specific categories?

    – **Site translation to French**: What is the **fastest and most effective way** to translate the entire site (including theme and WooCommerce content) into **French**, without having to manually translate every single string?

I really need to resolve these issues quickly for my client, so your fast assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

To be honest, I’m getting quite frustrated. I’ve clearly explained the issues I’m facing, and I’ve already provided everything you requested — including a full temporary admin access link via the Private Content field.

I also mentioned that the website is under maintenance mode, but the temporary login bypasses that completely and gives you full backend access.

Despite this, you’re still asking me for more information instead of checking what has already been provided. I’ve now lost a lot of time and I really need to move forward with this project for my client.

Please, take this seriously and review the access I’ve shared. I need clear and effective help, not more delays.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Icons not displaying. We checked your shop page, and it is configured to show categories only in the page title (Screenshot https://monosnap.ai/file/JM9TcaqDUKLhW7S8n1aCeU4f14qRHL). We reviewed the category icons located there, and they look normal. If you were referring to a different element or widget, please clarify your issue and provide screenshots so we can give you the correct answer.

Mobile-only categories. We checked the mobile view of the categories in the page title, and they appear in the same location and have the same number of categories as on desktop: https://monosnap.ai/file/mpGiNmcSmCcb6wAIvIxpmetWjBUx8k.

It’s important to note that the categories you see in the page title are the direct WooCommerce product categories used for filtering on the shop page. If, by ‘mobile categories,’ you meant the demo menu located in the mobile header—that is a separate menu that can be configured using standard WordPress tools at Dashboard → Appearance → Menus. The menu is titled “Categories.”: https://monosnap.ai/file/nKfZrmEngPKNgRLouCfA9TXfYHSiRi.

Site translation to French. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with an automated tool for translating the theme and WooCommerce files, nor can we guarantee its quality if such a tool exists.

Currently, the most popular plugins available for translating WordPress themes are Loco Translate and WPML, both of which our theme fully supports. Our documentation has a separate section with instructions on theme translation: https://xtemos.com/docs-cat/translation/?theme=woodmart, including a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eQUi6Yb1bQ&t=1s.

By default, both plugins require you to manually translate each string, but ready-made translations created by our users are already available for our theme, which you can use, including the French language. You can learn more about how to download translations in a separate article at the following link: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/theme-translation/

    Kind Regards

URGENT – Icons not displaying on desktop after modification (SVG category icons)

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.
However, I think there’s been a misunderstanding about the issue.

The problem is not about the default category display or the “page title” section.
The real issue is that I changed the icons (SVG files) for my WooCommerce product categories, but they are not showing on desktop — only on mobile.

I used the built‑in icon upload option in the category settings (so everything is saved correctly in the backend).
I also tried adding custom CSS and clearing all caches several times, but the icons still won’t appear on desktop.

I’m attaching screenshots to show you exactly what’s happening.
Please, check this specific issue — it’s important and quite urgent because I need to finalize the project delivery for my client.

Could you please review this as soon as possible and help me fix it quickly?

Thank you very much for your understanding and fast response.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

WooCommerce categories have several (generally four) options for setting images that will correspond to these categories in different parts of the site. These options usually have a tooltip and a description that indicates where they will be used.

In your response, you show the Thumbnail and Category icon options and relate them to the page title, even though a different option, Large category icon (https://monosnap.ai/file/aRxqRojXIzyYeqnuzIVNV5JjWDqpjO), is responsible for displaying the icon in the page title. For example, the category ‘Chambre à coucher’ currently has a white kitchen knife icon, and those are what are currently displayed in your page title on the shop page.

For testing, we selected a different category, ‘Salon,’ and in the Large category icon option, we replaced the clock icon with a map pointer (https://monosnap.ai/file/wCdhErzhpUzKQEFV6YBuaIRWGA8JDN), and as a result, it is correctly displayed on the front end, including desktop (https://monosnap.ai/file/HRkplMXi7GvkJOpP2ogGmgCimI4UjB) and mobile (https://monosnap.ai/file/2sCBEm9OnsKRADsKfIYt3iNwU2Etbm).

To resolve your issue, please try selecting the correct icons and inserting them into the Large category icon option. If this doesn’t work for some reason, leave those icons set and inform us so we can check why they aren’t working.

    Kind Regards
