Products widget (grid/carousel) doesn’t show Cross-sell (Single Product) entry

    In the Data Source of the “Products (grid or carousel)” widget, only the following items are shown (see image):

    All Products
    Featured Products
    Sale Products
    Products with NEW label
    Bestsellers
    List of IDs
    Top Related Products
    Related (Single product)
    Upsell (Single Product)

    The “Cross-sell (Single Product)” item is missing, what can I do?

    Hello,

    Currently, cross-sells are designed by WooCommerce to display in the Cart page based on the products added. However, with Woodmart’s Layout Builder, you can create custom layouts for cart page

    Inside this layout, you can use a Products Grid/Carousel widget and set its data source to “Cross-Sells”.

    It’s precisely with Layout Builder that the “Cross-sell” option doesn’t appear in the “Products (Grid/Carousel)” drop-down menu. As you can see from the images, I’m managing the insertion as per your instructions, but an option is missing from the “Data source” menu.

    Hello, thanks for your reply.

    I invite you to go into WP Administration and try opening Single Product Layout synergin and you’ll see that different menu items appear for the same widget.
    When I open Cart Layout synergin, I also see the Cross Sells item (in italian “Vendite incrociate”) in the data source, but even if you copy and paste the item from one layout to another, the items available in the data source change.

    Hello,

    I understand what you mean, the available data source options can differ between layout types Single Product Layout vs Cart Layout) because each layout is dynamically linked to specific WooCommerce contexts.

    That’s why the “Cross-Sells” option appears only in the Cart Layout, as WooCommerce defines cross-sells to be related to the cart page. When editing the Single Product Layout, the widget data source is limited to product-related options, so cross-sells won’t be available there.

    If you want to display similar product suggestions on the single product page, you can use the “Related Products”, “Upsells”, or a custom Products Grid filtered by category, tag, or attribute instead.
