vynilParticipantHello, the title of the portfolio item is not showing on the Single portfolio page. I’d like it to appear just like the blog post title in the single blog post page. Am I missing something? Also, is there any way to use the same template for the single post for the single portfolio? I’m attaching a link to the page I need help with + a screenshot of the editor showing the post title. Thank you 🙂

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please navigate to Theme Settings > Page Title and make sure the Page Title option is enabled.
Then, for the specific project, go to Dashboard > Projects > Edit Project, scroll down to the Page Settings section, and ensure the Page Title option is not disabled there.
Once both options are correctly set, the project title should appear on the single portfolio page as expected.
Best Regards,

vynilParticipantHello, thanks for the reply. But I don’t want to use the page title area option. I am not using it anywhere in the design and it wouldn’t make sense to use it on just one page. I want to show the portfolio project title as part of the post, just like your single post works: the post title appears above the post content without using any page title area. Please see this link for an example of what I mean. Is that possible in any way? Thank you in advance.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I haven’t made any changes to your site. I checked it after receiving your message.
To resolve the issue, please go to Theme Settings > Page Title and select the “Default” or “Centered” page title design.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please enable the page title from Theme Settings > Page title.
For the specific page where you do not want to show the page title, edit the page and in the bottom of the page settings, disable the page title option: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/options-for-pages/
To show the project name in the page title, navigate to Theme Settings > Portfolio > Single project > Enable the option “Project name in page title”.

vynilParticipantHello, I repeat that I do not want to use the page title. I want the project title to appear above the post content, just like it works on the single blog post. There, you do not have a page title enabled from the settings, but the title of the post appears above the post content. Does that make sense now?

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
When you enable the option ““Project name in page title”” from Theme Settings > Portfolio > Single Project, then the project title will show in the page title. Sorry to say but there is no other option like a post to show a title with a background in the single project. This is the way it works.
See Screenshot for clarification:

vynilParticipantHi, thanks for your reply, but I am trying to explain once again that I do not look to show a title with a background. I just want the title of the custom post type “project” that comes with your theme, to appear in the page, just like it works on the regular post. No page title, no background, just the post title appears above the post content, like this (screenshot attached). Does that help explain better?
