sholpanmktParticipantHi,
I’ve reinstalled both the Woodmart theme and Woodmart Child several times (cleared cache, re-imported demos, activated all plugins). The prebuilt templates still load with broken layout or header/menu issues — for example, the menu alignment collapses, or the categories block appears on every page.
My goal is to use the default Woodmart layout as a stable base and then customize it with my brand colors and a dark-background homepage. I’m not a developer — I’ve been using CSS generated by ChatGPT to adjust colors and hover effects, so I may have unintentionally overridden theme settings.
I’d appreciate help to:
Restore a clean, working default demo (header/menu functioning correctly).
Apply my brand colors and confirm the best method to implement a dark-background homepage — with a dark header and hero at the top, followed by alternating dark and light content sections (.dark-home body class, .dark-section rows).
I tried adding custom CSS in Theme Settings → Custom CSS (see attached), but had to remove it after the broken template
Thank you very much for your help — I’m just learning CSS and would appreciate your step-by-step guidance, to avoid broken theme and templates.

sholpanmktParticipantI think these issues started since I updated the theme or installed js plugin

sholpanmktParticipantUpdate: I tried clearing cache via Hostinger file manager and WP, and then again reinstalled the theme and child theme. Then I deleted duplicate menu items (overlap leftover from previous installs), but I’m still experiencing issues with layout and menu , and bow in addition to that I think my product categories etc are all gone too

sholpanmktParticipantHi Artem,
Did you login via Hostinger the url I shared below (under Private content section)? If so the password should be working I just checked.
I have also shared with you a screenshot from Hostinger.
Login to my Hostinger panel (use URL below) -> Click on top right “WP Admin” to access WP Admin
Thank you so much in advance!

sholpanmktParticipantAlso I messed up top header and Menu options as I was trying to get rid of overlapping items from previous installations. Can you please make them them the same as in the default theme? And I seem to be missing the default product categories as well. Please see attached screenshot.
Thank you so much!
