Hi Marco,
You can fully build your homepage with Elementor, but some parts of the page are controlled outside the page editor. Here is how to get full control and where to edit each section:
First, make sure you use Elementor everywhere
– Use only one builder. WoodMart works with a single page builder per site; mixing builders is not supported and switching later requires rebuilding content.
– If you imported a demo, ensure you imported the Elementor version (WoodMart > Prebuilt Websites).
Edit places that are not inside the page content
– Header: WoodMart > Header Builder. Guide: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-header-builder/
– Page title and breadcrumbs area: Theme Settings > Page title (or disable per page in the page settings if you don’t want it).
– Footer: set via Theme Settings > Footer and HTML Blocks.
– Sliders used on the homepage: Dashboard > Slides > Sliders. If you don’t see Edit with Elementor there, enable it in Elementor > Settings > Post types > Slides. Slider docs: https://xtemos.com/docs-cat/woodmart-slider/
Build or replace the homepage with Elementor
– Pages > Home > Edit with Elementor. You can insert sections from the WoodMart Templates Library or create your own.
– Templates Library: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/templates-library/
Customize the Shop, Product, Cart, Checkout, etc.
– Use WoodMart’s WooCommerce Layout Builder: Dashboard > Layouts. You can create custom layouts for the shop archive, single product, cart, checkout, and more using Elementor (Elementor Pro is not required).
– If Elementor doesn’t appear for Layouts, enable it in Elementor > Settings > Post types > Layouts.
– Guide: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/
If you share your site URL and a screenshot of the sections you can’t edit, we’ll point you to the exact place to change them.
Kind Regards
