MihaiParticipantHi, i am trying to translate the Days, Hr, Min, Sc from the Countdown timer widget but it seems that it is not updating from the backend when doing it with Loco Translate.
The only translation found for these strings are in the Woodmart theme location and they are translated but its not reflecting in the frontend.
I dont have any caching plugin activated nor on the hosting side, i am in developing mode currently.
Please help me find these strings.
I previously opened another topic but i found that the Product Timer Countdown works but the other Countdown Timer widget is not updating. Thanks!

MihaiParticipantI have checked the documentation and its not related to the Countdown Timer widget, as i mentioned the translation is present if you see from the screenshot but in the frontend the widget is not translated. The Product Countdown widget works and i see it takes the same strings from the backend ( Days, Hr, Min, Sc). Thank you!
March 30, 2026 at 9:26 am #714499Hello,
I have checked your site and found that the words are already translated on your site: https://ibb.co/n8CdXZBw I think it is a browser cache issue; please check the site after removing the browser cache.
Best Regards.

MihaiParticipantHello, thanks for your reply, the theme has 2 distinct widgets:
1. Product Countdown Timer – works ok, translated in Romanian.
2. Countdown Timer – not working as per my screenshots (this is placed on the homepage)-

First, we would like to explain how the Gutenberg builder works. In the “Edit Page” section, when you add an element, it automatically generates its HTML and displays it on the frontend without any changes.
In your case, for the “Countdown Timer” on the homepage to be translated, the admin panel language also needs to be set to Romanian, not English as it is now.
After you change the admin panel language, you can create a new “Countdown Timer” element, which will then be displayed in Romanian.
Best Regards.

MihaiParticipantHi Aizaz, unfortunately it still shows in english after switching the backend lang to romanian and readding the widget to the homepage, cleared cache and also opened in incognito window in my browser.

Please try to change the language for the profile settings, because I saw that you have still set the user profile language as English.
Otherwise, if you give me admin user logins, then I will check why this is not working on your site.
Best Regards.

MihaiParticipantHi Aizaz, the login info i gave you has the admin rights so you can use that one.

MihaiParticipantOh ok, i have given you now my username and password. Thanks!
March 31, 2026 at 2:47 pm #714689Hello,
Your issue has been solved. Yes, I accessed it using alternative credentials. Then I re-saved the translations, and on the edit page, I can see the changes appearing because the block had broken (screenshot: https://monosnap.ai/file/yzaCMC8KOJxxBSd2HAxecV2wls8d9l).
I restored the block, and now the translation on the main page is working correctly.
