Hi! I created a custom layout for my Bed section. After the main models, I also added a product a “Products (Grid or Carousel)” element. Before it, I added “Product filters” and 3 filters – 2 attributes and one price filter.

The issue is they don’t work. I also attached a filter.

Could you please help me with that?

    Hello,

This is happening because the WooCommerce filter system is designed to work only with product archive pages.

When you use a “Products (Grid or Carousel)” element inside a custom layout, it does not connect to the WooCommerce query system in the same way, so the Product Filters cannot interact with it dynamically.

To achieve the exact behavior shown in your screenshot, you should:
Create a custom layout for this bed category and use the Products Archive widget (not the grid or carousel widget) and use the sidebar widget in the layout to show the sidebar in layout.

Further, you can read more about the Layout Builder here: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/

I understand, but the Products Archive doesn’t let me choose which product category to display.

Sorry, it worked. Now I got one more issue. After I set a specific filter, on desktop it takes me to the head of the page, instead of staying where the products archive is.

Also, I don’t see an option to remove the filters.

    Kind regards,
    Dan

And I also don’t get the variable products shown when I select a custom attribtue. For eg. – mattes. I have 4 different models, 1 is simple product, the others are variable products. I get as a result only the simple product.

    Hello,

    01. Sorry to say your video link is not working. So, try to disable the Scroll to top after AJAX option from Theme Settings > Product Archive and check how it works: https://ibb.co/spy9FbwB

    02. Could you please share some useful screenshots for better understanding that demonstrate the problem, so we can understand and reproduce it on your website?

    Best Regards

You may go to this page to test: https://lonamad.ro/categorie-produs/oferte-mobila/oferte-paturi/

Select filter “Dimensiune pat: 120×200 cm” – you get no results.
Select filter “Tip pat: cu lada depozitare” – you get no results.

All of those are variable products.

    1. I’d like to have a sidebar like the one I upload in screenshots, I tried it with off-canvas sidebar but couldn’t do it.

    2. I had another topic that you marked as resolved, yesterday after the update you advised me to make everything was fine, but in the morning I saw again that all the elements are not rounded anymore, they are again rectangular.

    Hello,

    01. Try to regenerate “Regenerate the product attributes lookup table” in Woocommerce > Status > Tools.
    See this screenshot: https://gyazo.com/73736acec1f3ef5787e4e1610d3f3851

Navigate to Woocommerce > Settings > Product tab > Advanced tab and disable Use the product attributes lookup table for catalog filtering and check the issue: https://gyazo.com/637a2e9265c643fd5cb960587d543e41

    02. You are using a custom layout for archive pages and not configured the sidebar in the layout. When Custom Layouts are enabled, Archive pages which is why your made changes under the Theme Settings aren’t taking effect on that.

Navigate to Layouts > Edit product archive Layout with page builder and add the off-canvas columns button in the layout: https://ibb.co/ycwk3tcq

You should have 2 columns, and one of them should have the Column role for the off-canvas layout option. Edit the “Sidebar” column and in its settings set the Column role for “off-canvas layout” as “Off-canvas”: https://take.ms/puKlD

You can read more here https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/custom-off-canvas-sidebar/

    03. Please try to clear all types of cache (browser, server), and double-check the issue.

    Best Regards

    Hi!

    1. The regeneration is stuck – attached screenshot – no progress.
    2. I tried everything with the Off-Canvas, the layout is a mess. I will attach screenshots, I can’t figure out.
    3. It’s not about theme settings, before the first update it was fine. After the second it worked for a while and later this morning it started to look again like that.

    Hello,

    01. Please now check back your site and check the issue. The filters are working fine.

    See Screenshot for clarification: https://postimg.cc/3kcbSqmK

    02. Could you please share the URL of the page layout you are currently editing?

    03. Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then, activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know so I will check and give you a possible solution.

    Best Regards

    1. Hi, for me it sill doesn’t work – https://lonamad.ro/categorie-produs/oferte-mobila/oferte-paturi/ – try “cu lada depozitare” , and you can see they don’t work – I also cleared the cache and went incognito mode. Also checked on mobile.

    2. https://lonamad.ro/woodmart_layout/oferte-paturi-2/

    3. It’s the plugin that I use to purge cache – WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache – Version 4.5.5 | By TeamUpdraft, DavidAnderson

For other layouts it works just well. I duplicated the layout and deleted the old one, still the same issue – https://lonamad.ro/woodmart_layout/oferte-paturi-2-5/. You can check this now.

And also, how can I have this option? – Remove filter

    Hello,

    01. Navigate to Theme Settings > Shop > Variable products > disable the option Show single variation and check the issue: https://ibb.co/FqbM946H

When you enable “Show single variation” and “Hide variations parent”, the theme visually displays each variation (like the color or size) as a separate items on the frontend, but these variations are not treated as individual products in the backend, which is where the filter widgets pull data from. This feature separates variations on the front end, but filtering still relies on the parent product structure. You need to disable the “Hide variations parent” option to see all attributes filtering.

    02. Try to import the predefined layout from WoodMart > Layouts, which have sidebar in desktop and off canvas button on mobile and check how it works.
    https://postimg.cc/YG1DVpBW

    03. It appears that the issue is caused by the WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache plugin rather than the theme itself. Since the rounded elements return to normal when the plugin is disabled, the problem is likely related to its caching, optimization, or minification features.

    Please try the following:

Purge all caches in WP-Optimize > Temporarily disable optimization options in the plugin and clear your browser cache and check the site again.

    Best Regards
