Hello,
1. In order to deactivate the attribute, navigate to Products > Attributes > enter the attribute and disable “Show attribute label on products”
2. Please navigate to the Theme Settings > Blog and find the option to configure the excerpt length https://gyazo.com/019b91225df02b171cb508498f08b48c
