The footer can be displayed in two ways: by HTML block and by Widgets. You can find the option to select the way in the Theme Settings > Footer.

If you set Footer by widgets, you need to add all the content in Appearance > Widgets > Footer Column 1, Footer Column 2, and so on.

If you want to use HTML block, you need to create it: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/html-blocks-usage/ then select it in the drop-down, which appears as soon as you select Footer by Widget in the Theme Settings.
