Try to use the Theme’s Layout Builder, you can create Custom Layouts for WooCommerce pages like Shop, Category, Single Product page, Cart, and Checkouts and for portfolio pages. You can use that to create your own custom layouts for these pages.

The only way to make the view awesome is to upload images of the same size and proportion.
WooCommerce allows some settings that you can find under Appearance >> Customize >> WooCommerce >> Product Images.

You can define the “height” of the shop thumbnails by setting up the width : height aspect ratio in the “Thumbnail cropping” section:

Custom: In Custom, you can select the aspect ratio of the image.

Here are some of the popular aspect ratios (1:1, 5:4, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 and 3:1).

For the Product Archive page, please navigate to Theme Settings > Product archives -> Product styles, here you can enable the Even product grid for desktop option to align products if they have different height components.

When you create a template in Elementor and manually copy-paste it into each product, it becomes static content.

This means every product holds its own separate copy, so updating the original template will not update the products where it was pasted.

To make global updates work, you need to use:

With these methods, you edit the template once and all assigned products update automatically.

Please navigate to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog and under category page displays, select “Show products and subcategories”.

If you want to show sub-categories above the products, create a custom layout for product archive pages and edit your product archive layout with a page builder and manually add the Product Categories widget to display categories.

On the old website, you are using a custom layout for a single product page when Custom Layouts enabled for product pages, which is why your made changes under the Theme Settings aren’t taking effect on that.

Please first check that the category descriptions are added properly in Products > Categories.

If the issue still occurs, it’s possible that you are using Custom WooCommerce Builder layouts (from Woodmart’s Layout Builder). In that case:

1. Go to Layouts > Edit Product Archive Layout.
2. Make sure the Archive Description widget is added to the layout.

Sorry to say but it wouldn’t be directly possible as you know the default Single Product page layout comes from WooCommerce end.

But you can use the Theme’s Layout Builder to create Custom Layouts for the Single Product page > and in that Layout you can change or configure the elements accordingly. You can find the Layouts under the Dashboard > Layouts.

Please edit your Checkout Layout and add the WooCommerce Notices widget in the section where you want the messages to appear. You can position it anywhere within the layout as needed.

For the login form and coupon form to display correctly, you’ll need to create a new Layout with the Checkout Top Content condition and add the Coupon Form and Login Form widgets inside that layout.

This will ensure all elements appear in the correct position within the checkout page.

If your current single product page was customized directly using the default theme structure (not through the Woodmart Layout Builder), it unfortunately can’t be imported or copied automatically into a new layout. The predefined layouts only include templates created within the Layout Builder itself.

Currently, the checkout page cannot be fully edited with Elementor, as it relies on WooCommerce’s default structure and shortcodes to process orders correctly. If you edit the checkout page directly with Elementor, it may cause issues with the order confirmation (thank you) page or break some checkout functionalities.

In the layout, you can edit this section under the product details area and choose the data source whose attributes you want to display.
