    i have a webshop that works with variations without any problems so far.
    The variations (sizes) were created so far like this:
    XS | S | M | L
    But these variations are only shown as dropdown, not as swatches.
    If I do it like in your description it works.
    I have a lot of products in my webshop.
    Do I have to change all variations?
    Or did I not find a certain setting?

    Hello,

    You can add global attributes and custom attributes. The top screen shows the custom attributes and swatches would not work.

    Please create variations on global attributes to confirm the swatches.

    Hello Elise,
    thank you very much for the explanation.
    Does this mean that I can only use the global attributes?
    I have 600 existing items with custom attributes.
    I can add global attributes to them but how can I delete the custom attributes in bulk?
    Unfortunately when I have both versions it shows the dropdown menu AND swatches.
    Would you have a solution for this?

    Hello,

    I am afraid Woocommerce does not allow bulk attribute editing. Perhaps you can find a plugin for this, by default it is not possible.
