Is it possible to add the category and subcategory to the URL for a product. I have tried the normal WP way of doing it, but it hasn’t worked.

    Hello,

Make a category structure with parent and child categories, and use this code in the custom base product permalinks
    /%category%/%postname%/

while selecting a category just select the child category and you will have a structure like this http://www.abcdomain.com/category/subcategory/postname

    Hi,
I made the change but it still hasn’t changed anything – https://pink-donkey-894457.hostingersite.com/Product/quest-pancake-maker-and-grill-6-non-stick-moulds/

Happy to provide access to the backend if that’s easier.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Thanks for that, it seems to have worked but the URL is not coming through, example – https://pink-donkey-894457.hostingersite.com/home-furniture-diy/cable-and-wire-management/2-way-gang-plug-13a-wall-socket-adaptor-2x-usb-charge-ports-2-4a/

Do I need to republish the the items? that wouldn’t be ideal, hopefully there’s a workaround.
    Thanks

    #597438

    Hello,

You don’t need to republish the items. Try resetting the permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks and clicking “Save Changes” without making any changes. This usually updates the URLs. If that doesn’t work, clear your website’s cache.

    Hi,

I think it might be an issue on your end as I can access the site via your account (see attached) I’ve cleared the DNS on the site side, let me know if that worked? If not, I will get onto the hosting support.

    Thanks

Hi, could you try incognito see if that works? I checked with hosting company, everything is fine on their end. Might need to clear cache or disable firewall, see if that works?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Sorry to say it is not working, Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?

    Hello,

I have seen the same issue with the default theme.
    https://ibb.co/hBTN2NY

You need to contact your hosting provider and ask to resolve this problem from their side. There is no issue with the theme.

Hi, sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this. I have asked the hosting company for support but they have not shared any new information apart from the below –

The persistent issue seems to be related to SSL and DNS settings. Since you are using a temporary domain, and if the DNS settings are already correct, it might be worth verifying any local network restrictions or firewall settings that might be affecting access from different locations.

could you try a vpn for US/UK if that works? Thanks

Hi, is it possible to get this menu style on the electronic store? https://woodmart.xtemos.com/demo-coffee/demo/coffee/

I don’t want the sidebar navigation as well. Thanks

    #602959

    Hello,

    01. Navigate to Appearance -> Menu -> Edit menu item and set the drop-down setting design aside.
    https://ibb.co/g3QVMPP.

Add the sub item like in the screenshot:
    https://ibb.co/3B42yKc.

In the sub item set the drop-down and add the HTML Block for the drop-down:
    https://ibb.co/vVFX5cS.

    02. It can be disabled via Theme Settings > General > Sticky Navigation and Remove the menu.

For more details please follow this guide:
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/sticky-navigation/

    Hi,,
thanks for your help with that.

Sorry don’t think I was clear with my questions. I want the menu to appear short like the screenshot, I did do the instructions in the first link. Second link wasn’t doable, as I couldn’t find the ‘menu shop pages’ html block.

I have still left your account open if you’d like to login.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Now check back your site and check the main navigation menu items on the header. Navigate to Appearance > Menu > edit main navigation menu and customize the menu items as per your requirements.

    Hi,

Thanks for the help. I was more talking about the design of the menu, it has a floating affect. Is this not possible with the current demo selected?

    Thanks
