Add-php-function-header

Is there a way to add a php function string into right-box in the header, near search icon ? I would like to add a language switch.

Please refer to the WPML documentation, the language switch is always assigned to a menu. You need to create a menu.

You need to create a menu in Appearance > Menu and show it by means of Secondary menu.
